bulthaup was one of the sponsors of the first edition of Product Design Madrid, aimed at showcasing the products of Spanish and international designers and promoting a professional event with support from all the agents in the industry.

It also strives to promote the city of Madrid internationally, presenting it as a new production and development center for industrial design. The first Product Design Madrid show was held in an outstanding venue: the headquarters of COAM, the Official Architects’ Association of Madrid.

The turnout was excellent: 12,500 people gathered at the show, offering bulthaup Galera a unique opportunity to present the b3 interior fitting system, which has merited so many awards since its initial market launch.

Aiming to boost creativity, the fair included a design contest in which a specialized jury selected the ten best products. These would then be showcased internationally at the Fuori Salone held as part of the Milan Design Week.
