Major figures in gastronomy are leading an effort to foster exchanges in knowledge, research, and innovation. This venture has laid the groundwork for establishing the International Gastronomic Center, a Brussels-based organization focusing on cultural exchange through gastronomy.
The International Gastronomic Center will be a creative, innovating space where chefs from all over the world will gather to exchange their knowledge and experiences.
The center strives to provide a great deal of gastronomic activity for the city, including public venues, courses, lectures, and many other events aimed at fully integrating the center into the city's everyday life.
An architecture competition will be held for the new IGC venue. The competition will be open to architecture students, and on July 4th, the Jury, led by Ferrán Adrià, will meet at bulthaup Madrid, Galera; to select the winners.
It is an honor for bulthaup to have the opportunity of participating in this event. A special dinner will be served by Norema Salinas, who will meet the challenge of offering the guests her fusion cuisine with an imaginative twist. In addition, a sample of the preselected projects will be on exhibit from July 4th to July 28th.
It is a pleasure for bulthaup to host this unique event, pioneering new trends in gastronomy.
